We were both born and raised in southern Africa and in 2007 fell in love with this property. The enormous and numerous Valley Oaks that grace the property were in desperate need of attention and of course there was the uninhabitable home.
We are very serious about trying to be good stewards of the land so chose a ‘green’ design and process for our ‘Breeze Space’. We were amazed at the quality and innovation of the designers, Studio 101 Designs. We are happy to report that we have enjoyed many wonderful moments in our home.
Continuing with the ethos of stewardship we have an agreement with our vineyard management to be organic. This requires a lot of backaches as we pull out most of the weeds but is worth it!
